Rocket Grill & pouches March 9, 2007 Walter M. Hohlstein (Arrowhead Ranch,Ariz.) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
The Rocket Grill & pouches are a very convenient way to grill meat fat free. The drippings fall into the bottem of the pouch. The unit is best for two people. The pouches hold two chicken breasts (Medium size) or steaks etc. Grill is fast and requires almost NO cleaning.
We are happy with the product.
No Cleanup March 23, 2007 Dolores F. Marleau (MN) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have used the RocketGrill ever since I opened the box. I got 60 of the parchment pouches with the grill and I have used all of those and order 3 more boxes with 36 each. I pouches work great. No mess to cleanup.
Easy Cooking - No Cleaning! February 24, 2007 azdeanna (Phoenix, AZ) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase of the Rocket Grill and the pouches! I did a lot of homework online before committing to the purchase, and it really does what it says! Even my uber-skeptical husband said he's pretty impressed with it and has been known to use it himself. The pouches are great for keeping food moist with no clean up. I have only had two exceptions. I did have one bag that was defective, so I had to clean up a little "juice", but it's easy since the little plastic tray at the bottom slides out. One defective bag out of 60 is good odds, so I'm not upset. The other time, I did not follow the thickness guidelines for chicken, so I had to cook longer than the guide said. I think I may have damaged the bag when putting it back in for the second round of cooking, and had to again clean up a little "juice". That said, not following guidelines/directions is my fault, so I do not blame them for that one. Overall, I believe the Rocket Grill and the pouches are well worth the every penny I spent!

SUNBEAM!! Ok, I have had this item for well over a year and it is a big hit in my house! It truly does what it claims and you don't sacrafice taste or texture!
Pro's & con's: 4 min Hamburger's!!! Busy family, need I say more! We have upgraded to a higher quality meat, because the Rocket Grill does such a great job. The bigger patties mean I have to cook 1 at a time (con).
I have cooked chicken and pork also and it works just as good. Timing is something you have to play with to get it "just right". It is great if you have a recipe that calls for a couple of breasts grilled.....throw them in a pouch with seasoning and you are on your way!
Hard to do a meal for 4 and servce it all hot, unless you have a warming drawer. I can say I haven't experimented with recipes too much, although the pouches do allow you to add whatever seasoning you like and then voila 4-6 minutes you are done!!
**Be sure you give the machine enough time for the plates to open after grilling. I was not patient and for the first month or so thought mine was "broken", NO it slowly opens back up when the timer goes off.
Works! March 28, 2007 Edward S. Clark 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a strange invention. But it really works! It is as good as the Forman but without the messy cleanup. I bought a pile of extra pouches in case this unusual machine is discontinued.
